I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but moved to Texas when I was just a year old. I was raised in a close-knit family of 8; five boys, myself, and my parents.

I have been married for 32 years and my husband and I have three wonderful young adults, one son and two daughters.

I love being a mom and a wife. My son and two daughters keep me on my toes and inspire me with their zest for life.
Their young energy, their light, and beauty makes the world a better place.
My husband inspires me to keep learning and and growing.

I graduated from George Mason University with my BS in education and received my kindergarten endorsement from the University of Texas.

I have published several educational technology articles and books. I enjoy teaching kids in the classroom as well as training educators and working with politicians on the importance of technology in education.

I enjoy traveling and I am excited to say I have only 3 more states to visit and I will have traveled to all fifty states. Exploring the beauty of each state is just one of my exciting adventures in life.

My husband and I have also traveled to parts of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Some exciting adventures:
* dog sledding in the Arctic.
* building a library in Kenya with Free the Children
* working with HIV men and women In Ethiopia
* working with kids in a school in Ethiopia
* working with schools in Uganda

  I also enjoy crocheting, singing, theater, and researching genealogy. I have recently taken up quilting and have so much to learn about that art form.
